The Connected Curriculum - Assessment

Lester Flockton discusses how schools can examine, review and develop their assessment position and practices. Principles for practice, key questions, the nature, and the purpose and qualities of assessment are all considered. Good assessment practices such as the use of multiple measures are explored. Teacher assessment and student self assessment are considered together with questions for review. The Healthy Practice Pyramid for classroom assessment is provided.
